‘Aim to Maintain’ This Holiday Season

Baptist and Kroc Center Memphis Want to Help You Stay Active and Healthy This Holiday Season

Aim to Maintain is back again for the 2021 holiday season and offering virtual resources to help you maintain healthy habits, starting Monday, Nov. 22 through Monday, Jan. 3. Everyone is invited to join.

The Kroc Center Memphis and Baptist Memorial Health Care have joined to bring you fitness classes, wellness challenges, health and wellness tips, and the opportunity to win prizes. During the next six weeks, Kroc Memphis will present multiple weekly challenges and virtual exercise classes to help you maintain your fitness routine and health during the holidays. All classes will be livestreamed on Zoom to allow you to exercise wherever you are.

Kroc Center Memphis will host a number of virtual exercise classes, from Zumba and Silver Sneakers to BODYPUMP and Les Mills Core training. See the full schedule of available virtual classes here.

Take the Weekly Challenges to Win Great Prizes

During the six weeks from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, Kroc Center Memphis and Baptist will share weekly challenges on Instagram and Facebook. When you complete these fitness challenges and share videos or photos on Facebook or Instagram and tag @baptistonline and @krocmemphis, you will be entered into drawings for great prizes that include the following:

  • Ninja Air Fryer
  • $115 gift card to Whole Foods
  • $100 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods

Weekly challenges are designed to help you maintain your fitness routine and healthy eating habits during the holidays. Use the handy Weekly Challenge Checklist to stay up to date and work toward your goals.

Once you complete them, you can enter the prize drawing by following these steps:

  • LIKE and FOLLOW @baptistonline on Facebook or Instagram
  • Tag @baptistonline and @krocmemphis, and use #AimtoMaintain2021 in posts when you complete challenges. You will gain one entry for every post or story that you tag Baptist and Kroc Memphis in per challenge, regardless of the platform.
  • Enter to win anytime starting Monday, Nov. 22 through Monday, Jan. 3. Contest winners will be announced on Saturday, Jan. 8 on Kroc’s social media pages and at Kroc’s January Fitness Launch.

    Week 3
    • Food Log: Create & share a food log
    • Workout Buddy: Work out with a friend or family member
    • Attend a Kroc group exercise class (virtual or in-person)
    Week 4
    • Rest Up: Create & share a sleep log
    • Push-up Challenge: Complete 100 push-ups in a day
    • Attend a Kroc group exercise class (virtual or in-person)
    Week 5
    • Re-center: Take 15 minutes each day to meditate
    • Core Challenge: Complete the posted core workout
    • Attend a Kroc group exercise class (virtual or in-person)
    Week 6
    • Home Cooking: Prepare and show us your favorite healthy recipe
    • Mile Challenge: Walk, jog or dance for 1 mile
    • Attend a Kroc group exercise class (virtual or in-person)
